We invite you to join this Thursday Tai Chi beginner class taught by Fiona Black, a master trainer for Dr Pau Lam's Tai Chi for Health programs and a Kung Fu Wushu Australia accredited instructor. Fiona has been teaching at this location, the Rex Centre in Potts Point/Kings Cross, for 20 years. Tai Chi is a slow, meditative form of movement that has many proven health benefits, such as improved balance, strength, flexibility and mobility. It also cultivates relaxation, coordination and mindfulness. It is based on Chinese qigong and martial art techniques from thousands of years ago. Discover what your body is capable of doing. Learn to move easily. Experience inner stillness. The class is suitable for all ages and all fitness levels. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that don't restrict movement. The entry to the Rex Centre is opposite the children's playground in Fitzroy Park, near to Baroda Street.
