Ukes4Peace is a group of Bay Area ukulele clubs (including San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion) committed to the idea that "through music, played together, we can promote peace, harmony, and love and make the world a better place." The idea is that member ukulele clubs will host one or more events in their own geographic area at which members from other affiliated ukulele clubs can join to play songs of protest, hope, peace, and encouragement. Each of the events held so far this year has been very well attended.
San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion is hosting a Ukes4Peace Jam on Saturday September 19 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Community Room at Sports Basement Presidio, 610 Old Mason Street, in San Francisco's beautiful Crissy Field.

Ukes4Peace has created a master songbook for everyone in all the participating ukulele clubs to use at Ukes4Peace jams.
