The 7th Heliópolis Theater Exhibition, a pioneer and reference in the dissemination of Brazilian peripheral theater, takes place between August 15 and 22, 2026, with free admission to all attractions. The production offers free transportation to adult performances, departing from Sacomã Metro Station. Adult performances take place at Casa de Teatro Mariajosé de Carvalho, headquarters of Companhia de Teatro Heliópolis, located in Ipiranga. The guest performance Republikkk ou Encruzilhada Não É Beco, by REC Instituto, opens the MTH on 15/08, Saturday, at 8pm. The Exhibition continues with the following productions: Teimar Até que Brote (16/8, Sunday, at 6pm), with Coletivo Corpo Aberto; Nitrido ou a Dramaturgia de Cavalo (21/08, Friday, at 8pm), with Cavalo Teatro group; and Parelha, Um Olhar Sobre a Realidade (22/08, Saturday, at 8pm), with Núcleo Parelha. The program also offers conversation circles between the groups and the audience, mediated by curator Alexandre Mate, and a Literary Fair dedicated to the dissemination of Brazilian peripheral authors and publishers whose focus is performing arts and social issues. Produced by Companhia de Teatro Heliópolis and MUK production company, the MTH has curatorship coordinated by Alexandre Mate and Dalma Régia, artistic direction by Miguel Rocha and production direction by Daniel Gaggini.
