Il suono dell'acqua e della terra (The sound of water and earth) - Preview
About the event
A preview of Il Suono dell’Acqua e della Terra, the new music theatre performance created by singer and theatre maker Carla Regina, produced by Stichting Voice, Actually and free to attend at the Hallen. A performance where music, poetry and storytelling come together
With live music, storytelling and poetry, this performance takes the audience to Puglia as a microcosm of the Mediterranean: a land of encounters, migrations and interwoven cultures.
Pizzica, tarantella, poetry and songs from Mediterranean traditions merge with sounds from Southern Italy, the Balkans and the Greek world, evoking the sea as a place of memory, transition and identity.

– Woerden, 7 November at 15.00 Het Klooster
– Geldrop, 13 November at 20.00 – Weeffabriek
