Her themes revolve around the interplay between psychology and the cultural barriers of society. Ethan Frome is available at the Toronto Public Library, especially in e-book and audiobook formats. Additionally, a film has been made of this story and it's free on YouTube. The novel is 99 pages long, making it highly accessible.
