V&A Research Showcase

The V&A Research Showcase is a new bi-annual event celebrating new and emerging research conducted by V&A staff and affiliated students. It is part of the V&A Research Institute’s commitment to showcasing the research conducted by V&A staff and affiliated students to a wide audience. Our vision is for new research to create a confident and engaged spirit of enquiry as a hallmark of the V&A, inspiring the productive energy of curiosity amongst creative communities worldwide and fostering the next generation of object-led researchers in our family of sites. The presentations will provide insights into museum-based research and will be of interest to a wide range of audiences, including: undergraduate and graduate students; PhD researchers; university-based academics; independent scholars and researchers; creative practitioners and interested members of the public. Tickets are free and we look forward to welcoming attendees to learn more about the breadth of research conducted by the V&A.
