All materials are included and provided. Class Description: Join us for a fun woodworking class with other enthusiasts to build a Bluebird Nest Box. These boxes are great for attracting bluebirds to nest in your yard and for providing a safe haven. In this beginner class, you will learn to measure, mark, and cut (miter saw) the main parts, create relief cuts for drip edges and cupping relief (tablesaw), as well as assemble (drill, countersink, and screw) a beautiful bluebird box. Community Classes are focused on growing the woodworking community, teaching basic woodworking skills and increasing access to tools and wood. These classes are run by skilled volunteers and build 1 small project completed in only a few hours. The class sizes are kept small and the number of tools used is limited. Each person attending the class must sign up individually regardless of payment amount.
