On Saturday 24 October 2026, WesterHarmonie, conducted by Arthur Demonceau, presents Haunted Harmonies at De Bron in Amsterdam-Oost: an atmospheric Halloween concert featuring mysterious, dark and imaginative music. The wind orchestra is joined by church organ. Baroque, Romantic, musical theatre, jazz and pop come together in a surprising programme full of suspense, atmosphere and imagination. Location: Location: Kerkgebouw De Bron, Hugo de Vrieslaan 2, Amsterdam. Haunted Harmonies takes the audience on a musical journey through the mysterious, dark and imaginative sides of music. The programme connects with the origins of Halloween, when, according to tradition, the boundary between our world and ‘the beyond’ temporarily becomes blurred. From Bach and Saint-Saëns to The Phantom of the Opera, The Pink Panther and music by Michael Jackson, familiar and surprising sounds create a world of suspense, mystery and imagination.

WesterHarmonie performs under the direction of Arthur Demonceau and is joined for this occasion by church organ. The combination of wind orchestra and organ creates a powerful, sometimes almost cinematic sound. The concert is an experience for lovers of classical music and for anyone who enjoys being surprised by the darker, thrilling and sometimes playful sides of music.
