Sunday Morning Community Meditation (In-Person)
About the event
We invite you to join us for our Sunday mindfulness meditation community gathering. All are welcome regardless of experience. Guided meditation instructions are available upon request. This is a free weekly event. Donations welcomed!
The session opens with a few brief chants (in English). There are periods of silent sitting meditation alternating with walking meditation, contemplation practice and discussion. The last half hour there'll be snacks and time to socialize. All are warmly welcome!
Meditation instruction will be available. People are welcome to arrive and leave at any time to fit their schedule.
Basic format - times approximate: 10:00 am - Welcome, Chants (in English) followed by brief guided meditation instruction
10:10 am - Sitting and Walking Meditation 11:45 am - Contemplation Practice and Discussion 12:30 pm - Community Social Time
