Is this your event?About the event
Join us for a free, one-hour guided meditation session designed to help calm the mind, reduce stress, and experience a state of inner peace and thoughtless awareness.
This welcoming meditation program is offered in partnership with Chicago Public Library and Sahaja Yoga Meditation. No prior meditation or yoga experience is needed, and everyone is welcome.
During the session, experienced Sahaja Yoga instructors will introduce you to:
• Simple, practical meditation techniques you can use in daily life • The subtle system of energy channels and chakras • Techniques for quieting the mind and experiencing inner stillness
What to expect:
• The session is approximately one hour • Meditation is done comfortably in a chair; no yoga mat is needed • No special clothing is required — just wear something comfortable • No experience is necessary • The program is free
There is nothing to bring but an open heart and a little time for yourself.
