From Setbacks to Breakthroughs — Shaping Better Products & Better Leaders
About the event
🤝 ProductTank Bangalore × Agara Walks & Filter Kaapi!
What do Instagram, Slack and Airbnb have in common? None of them started as the products we know today.
📸 Instagram began as Burbn until the founders stripped it back to what users loved most.
💬 Slack emerged from a gaming venture, when the team realized the tool they had built to collaborate might be the more valuable product.
🥣 Airbnb famously sold cereal boxes to stay alive, buying them enough runway to keep going
Different products. Different industries. Different setbacks. But there is one common thread: The breakthroughs weren't a part of original roadmaps.
We often times celebrate successful launches. But we rarely talk about the messy journeys behind them, the wrong bets, unexpected pivots and lessons that shaped both the product and the people building it.
On August 29, we're stepping away from presentations and workshops to walk around scenic Agara Lake and share the real stories behind great products:
✂️ The courage to let go of what is built 💡 The ability to recognize an unexpected product opportunity 🌱 The resilience and creativity to keep going when the path isn't clear and a lot more..
Afterall, the best product lesson isn't in the success story. It’s that one setback that led to a better product and build better leaders.
Come join us for a scenic walk to share and listen🚶and we'l wrap up over coffee ☕ with great product lessons along the way!
