Workshop: CAIXA ARTESANAL

Learn to create a handcrafted box measuring 13x18x4cm with fabric covering. The workshop covers fundamental concepts, tool and material presentation, and production techniques including base assembly, lid construction, covering and lining, gluing, and finishing. Personalization strategies are also discussed. Open to visual artists, craftspeople, students and anyone interested in the craft. Instructor: Eliana Yukawa, artisan and founder of Yume Ateliê & Design (2019). She holds degrees in Advertising and a postgraduate qualification in Marketing. She began producing boxes for photographers in 2016 and expanded into bookbinding from 2017, studying at O Velho Livreiro in São Paulo. She participated in the workshop 'Boxes in all forms' with bookbinder Cor Aerssens in Warffum (Netherlands).
