About the event
Join us for a full-day adventure through one of Portugal's most spectacular natural parks.
This challenging point-to-point hike takes us across the beautiful Serra da Arrábida, combining dramatic limestone ridges, panoramic viewpoints, peaceful forests and historic landmarks before descending into the vibrant coastal city of Setúbal.
Along the way we'll enjoy breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, the Sado Estuary and the Arrábida mountains, making this one of the most rewarding hikes within easy reach of Lisbon.
Whether you're joining us for the first time or you're already a regular, you'll be made very welcome.

This hike is suitable for confident walkers with a good level of fitness. The route includes sustained climbs, uneven terrain and a full day of hiking.
🚌 Getting There Meet: 8:15am at Sete Rios Bus Station (Platform 7) Depart: 8:30am Arrive: 9:25am at Rua de Lisboa (Frente Parque da Bacalhôa), São Lourenço

🍽️ Optional Meal Afterwards We'll finish the hike in Setúbal, where anyone who'd like to is welcome to join us for an optional meal at Charroco, one of the city's popular traditional Portuguese restaurants. It's a great opportunity to relax, refuel and get to know everyone a little better after a fantastic day on the trails.
🚆 Returning to Lisbon Trains depart Setúbal for Lisbon at 03 and 23 minutes past each hour, taking approximately 50–55 minutes. You're welcome to head home whenever you're ready.
🎒 What to Bring • At least 2 litres of water • Packed lunch and snacks • Suitable hiking footwear with good grip • Weather-appropriate clothing • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses and sunscreen) • Hiking poles (optional but recommended)
⚠️ Please Note This is a challenging full-day hike with significant distance and elevation. Please only RSVP if you're confident you can comfortably complete the route.
