Free Meditation at Monash University - Every Thursday

Sahaja Yoga Meditation offers free, guided meditation sessions for Monash students and staff. Each session includes a simple introduction to meditation, basic techniques for inner balance, and a short talk or discussion, a great way to unwind between classes, shifts, or a busy workday. These sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as regular meditators. No prior knowledge or experience is required, so whether you’re new to meditation or looking to build a regular practice, you’re welcome to join. Chairs are provided, and there are no physical exercises, postures, or special clothing needed, just come as you are. Sessions usually run for 45 to 60 minutes, and no booking is required, simply drop in whenever suits your schedule. Every session is free and led by volunteer students who share Sahaja Yoga to help others experience a sense of peace, balance, and stillness amid the demands of university and work life.
