Calling all seniors! Do you love to watch films based on books? Come to the Library’s Montalbano Theatre to enjoy a movie with your morning coffee, meet and mingle with other seniors, and chat about classic films and the books that inspired them. Based on the 1962 novel by Eugene Burdick and Harvey Wheeler, Fail Safe imagines a technical malfunction that sends American bombers to Moscow to deliver a nuclear attack. An all-star cast attempt to avert an all-out war while citizens are completely oblivious to their fate. Rating: G Runtime: 111 min VPL is committed to making our programs accessible for all.
