Life Drawing: WEEKEND INTENSIVE 16-17-18-19 October 2026
About the event
After several requests, 4bid offers a new series of life drawing weekend intensives! This four-lesson weekend course covers all you need to know (or need a nudge to remember to put into practice) when it comes to model drawing. Over the 4 sessions (Friday to Monday, each 3h) you'll delve much deeper into the subject matter than in our regular 1,5h weekly appointments.
Under the tutor's guidance, you'll work with the same live model, to master the understanding of their shapes. You will be invited to immediately develop and own a personal style, focusing on chiaro-scuro and line work, and applying bold gesture onto the paper. On the last evening you'll further one drawing, finishing it by applying all the learned tools.
To get the most out of this course, it can be helpful to have taken part to a drop-in session at 4bid gallery on either Tuesdays or Sundays (see the regular meetups). It is however not required to have prior experience.
The suggested price is €180 pp \| 4 lessons of 3 hours \| 8 participants max \| Includes materials\, coffee\, tea\, and snacks. Early bird sign up before August 30th pays €150 pp.

Classes are on Friday from 18:00 to 21:00, Saturday and Sunday from 16:00 to 19:00 and Monday from 18:00 to 21:00.
We ask participants to commit to all 4 sessions.
