i do this across our group companies at aries global. i work with the engineers, learn how the product actually runs, find what is slowing them down and change it. sometimes it is the code. sometimes it is the way work gets planned, tested or reviewed The session covers what to do in the first few weeks, how to decide where to start, what to change, what to leave alone and the mistakes made
