🇬🇧 Exchange english-spanish/catalan

(ES/CAT 👇) Next Saturday, October 17, BCN Polyglots is organizing a hike to Claramunt Castle together with the German and French groups. That's why, during the exchange, we'll also talk about this trip to the mountains and give you all the details that could be useful if you want to join.

We'll also take the chance to suggest other easy or medium-level hikes, since what we're really after isn't serious hiking but enjoying time together in the mountains. The idea is simply to get out of the city, breathe some fresh air, and practice our favorite languages along the way.

We'll meet next Wednesday, October 14, from 19:15 to 21:00, at Bar SandwiChez (Travessera de Gràcia, 18), for a new English and Spanish/Catalan exchange.

We get together to chat, meet new people and, above all, have a good time practicing whichever language each person wants to improve.

As in any good exchange, the idea is to alternate between both languages so everyone benefits: a few minutes speaking English, a few minutes speaking Spanish or Catalan, and so on. It's the best way to keep the conversation flowing and make sure everyone gets an equal share of practice time.

If we turn this language exchange into a habit at least twice a month, we'll notice the difference right away.

ES El próximo sábado 17 de octubre, en BCN Polyglots organizamos un Hiking al Castillo de Claramunt juntamente con los grupos de alemán y francés. Por eso, en el intercambio también hablaremos de esta salida a la montaña y te daremos todos los detalles que puedan ser útiles si quieres participar.

Además, aprovecharemos para proponer otras caminadas de nivel fácil o medio, porque lo nuestro no es tanto hacer excursionismo como disfrutar juntos de la montaña. La idea es simplemente salir de la ciudad, respirar aire puro y practicar nuestros idiomas favoritos mientras paseamos.

Nos vemos el próximo miércoles 14 de octubre, de 19:15 a 21:00 h, en el Bar SandwiChez (Travessera de Gràcia, 18), para un nuevo intercambio de inglés y español/catalán.

Nos reunimos para charlar, conocer gente nueva y, sobre todo, pasarlo bien practicando el idioma que cada uno quiera mejorar.

Como en todo intercambio que se precie, la idea es alternar entre ambos idiomas para que todos salgamos beneficiados: unos minutos hablando inglés, otros hablando español o catalán, y así sucesivamente. Es la mejor forma de que la conversación fluya y de que cada uno aproveche igual su rato de práctica.

Si convertimos este intercambio de idiomas en un hábito de al menos dos veces al mes, notaremos la diferencia enseguida.

A més, aprofitarem per proposar altres caminades de nivell fàcil o mitjà, perquè el nostre no és tant fer excursionisme com gaudir junts de la muntanya. La idea és simplement sortir de la ciutat, respirar aire pur i practicar els nostres idiomes preferits mentre passegem.
