🌱AUSTIN POND SOCIETY SEPTEMBER PLANT SWAP🪷 September 21st @ 6:30 pm – 8:30, Austin, TX at Zilker Botanical Gardens Auditorium Bring Water Lilies, Lotus, Bog Plants, Landscape Plants, Houseplants, Herbs & Edibles, Fish, Pots & Miscellaneous Garden Treasures! (See Plant Swap instructions below)

Members bring one or more plants, tubers, or other yard / garden items to swap. You get a ticket for each type of plant, item, etc. One ticket for your tomato plant, maybe a second ticket if you bring a basil plant, and maybe a third ticket for a lily or taro plant ) you get the idea.... There will be " stations "... lilies in one area, veggies or herbs in another, etc.
Everything should be separate in their own containers, small plastic pots & any waterlilies or water plants should be in zip lock bags, buckets, so as to not make a mess. When the swap starts, you turn in your ticket at a station & pick up your new plant or plants. Usually after about 15- 20 minutes, all remaining plants are "free for the taking" ( take as much as you want, no tickets needed ) and we usually have a very " happy to share" group and lots of plants for everyone!
Any items not swapped, must be removed by the owner. Please help us out & bring a rake or trash bag for any debris. We will need a few helpers to make sure the Zilker grounds are clean & clear of any debris after our swap.
