Smith Street Ceramic Market
About the event
Join us for a special one-day ceramic market at Smith Street Studios, bringing together 18 leading ceramic artists and makers from across Sydney and beyond. Curated specifically for Sydney Craft Week, this unique event celebrates the depth, diversity and creativity of contemporary Australian ceramics. Browse a thoughtfully selected collection of handmade tableware, lighting, sculpture, vessels, homewares and one-of-a-kind artworks while meeting the makers behind the work. The market offers a rare opportunity to purchase directly from ceramic artists, learn about their processes and discover pieces not typically available through galleries or retail spaces. Hosted by ceramic artist Milly Dent and the Smith Street ceramic community, the market will transform the Marrickville studio into a vibrant hub of craft, conversation and creativity. Whether you're a dedicated collector, design enthusiast or simply curious about ceramics, this is a chance to explore some of Australia's most exciting contemporary clay practices under one roof.
