About the event
Sound & Vision is a two-day artist development event connecting Austin’s emerging musicians with nationally recognized music industry professionals. The inaugural event features live performances, artist consultations, an industry panel, and networking opportunities. Saturday, September 5 | 2:00–6:30 PM | Live Roundtable & Mixer | Antone’s Upstairs The afternoon features live artist roundtable consultations, a moderated industry panel and audience Q&A, followed by a networking mixer from 5:00–6:30 PM. Panelists: Tommy Borscheid (The Orchard/Sony Music), Ralph Torrefranca (Angry Mob Music), Emmy Black (Bar/None Records), and Evelyn Gómez Rivera (SXSW). Host: Laurie Gallardo of KUTX, Austin Music Hall of Fame inductee and seven-time Austin Music Award winner. This event is presented by Daydream Believer Creative and is supported in part by a grant from the City of Austin.
