How to find us: We usually have a table on the ground floor, either outdoor, or in the covered patio area of Central Market next to the cafe. Best way is to look for tables with the Austin Language Mixer sign stylized same as our photo cover.
Welcome Austinites and visitors! We are a local FREE weekly social mixer to practice languages in Austin. Come join us and converse in any languages in a fun, relaxed setting. We will meet every week to chat, make friends, and enjoy a great time together. Pop in any time to improve your language skills or have a place to talk comfortably in your own native language.

⋆ When you check in, get a name tag and write down the languages (2 or more) you want to chat in.

⋆ We are all at different levels, are here to learn and make friends.
⋆ This is a language exchange social, not a dating app.
🇬🇧 Languages: We'll have pre-made language stickers for Spanish, French, English, Portugese, Italian, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese. You're welcomed to speak any language.
⏰ Our official end time is 9:45pm, but most people stay till whenever to socialize.
🍿 You can buy drinks, food, and snacks inside the market if you want to.

Yes! We are a friendly bunch, and at the same time we encourage you to learn some basics on your own to make the most of our language group.
