**Intro** A weekly writing laboratory designed to support the development of original work for **theatre, film, public speaking, and short fiction**. Through practical writing exercises, dramaturgical techniques and close textual development, you'll transform raw ideas into compelling work that thinks, feels and performs. **The Philosophy** **Shape language into embodied action.** Great writing isn't just read. It's experienced. Explore how words become gesture, silence, movement and emotion, creating stories that live beyond the page. **What you'll work on** Develop your own: • Plays • Short films • Monologues • Public speaking pieces • Spoken word • Short stories Bring an existing project or start from a blank page. **During the workshop you'll explore** • Dramatic structure and dramaturgical thinking • Character and dialogue • Writing exercises and improvisational prompts • Conceptual mapping • Rewriting and textual refinement • Reading work aloud and receiving feedback • Transforming language into performance This keeps almost every concept from the original text but makes it much easier to scan. **Flexible by design** **Join one session or the full series.** Each **2-hour workshop** is designed as a complete learning experience while also contributing to a larger creative journey. If you can't attend every week, you're welcome to join individual sessions.
