This is a FREE community screening! Join us for a post-screening Q&A with director/producer Kim A. Snyder.Across Texas, Florida, Louisiana and beyond, a coordinated wave of book bans has turned quiet school and public libraries into political battlegrounds. Shelves are being emptied, careers are on the line, and the people who once simply recommended a good read now find themselves facing down school boards, threats, and a culture war they never signed up for. From Emmy and Peabody Award-winning director Kim A. Snyder (Newtown, Us Kids), The Librarians follows the unlikely heroes on the front lines of the fight for the freedom to read. Gripping, urgent, and surprisingly hopeful, it is a story about who gets to decide what we read, and what we all stand to lose if we stop paying attention.Winner of the 2026 Primetime Emmy for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking.
