Now it's time to stay close to home!

Doris McCarthy Trail has beautiful views of the water and lots of wildlife. This is mostly flat except the beginning which includes a bit of a steep hill. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk down to the lake and after that the route goes east and west along the water.
Bring a bathing suit if you want to jump in - this is a perfect Sunday hike.
Distance is about 13km.
