Tech Startups on the Rooftop, Lisbon - Relaxed Networking
About the event
🚀 Tech Startups on the Rooftop is back in Lisbon! After bringing together 60+ people at our first meetup and nearly 100 at the second, it’s safe to say this is becoming one of Lisbon’s go-to meetups for the tech and startup community.
Our last meetup was a packed rooftop evening with founders, freelancers, techies, startup enthusiasts, and curious minds — lots of conversations, new connections, and drinks in the heart of Lisbon. And we’re doing it again!
🍂 October in Lisbon can still give us those perfect warm evenings, and we’re making the most of them while we can. This might be one of your last chances this year for rooftop drinks, sunset views, and startup conversations before the rainier months arrive. Don’t miss it.
Tech Startups on the Rooftop is Lisbon’s take on Tech Startups in the Pub — an event series that also runs in London, Milan, Warsaw, Lagos, Cape Town, Madrid and other cities. If you’ve been to one before, you already know the vibe.
If you haven't been before, this is what you need to know: Tech Startups on the Rooftop is a relaxed evening at Carmo Rooftop, where people from the tech and startup community come together to meet, chat, and make new connections. Whether you're a tech founder, an employee, an enthusiast, a budding entrepreneur, or simply curious about the tech scene, you'll fit right in. This isn't about panels or pitching — just good old-fashioned networking with like-minded people over a drink on a Thursday evening.
📍 Where: Carmo Rooftop \| Terraços do Carmo\, Largo do Carmo\, 1200-092 Lisboa\, Portugal 🕕 When: Every second Thursday of the month, from 6 PM
🌬️ Rooftop survival tip: Lisbon may still feel like summer during the day, but rooftop evenings can get surprisingly breezy. Bring an extra layer, future you will thank you.
House Rules:
• No hard selling or heavy pitching. This is a chilled after-work meetup. • Coming on your own? Absolutely fine — lots of people do. Or bring a friend and come meet some new ones. • Not into non-soft drinks? Totally fine — come for the people, stay for the conversation.
So grab a drink, come swap stories from the trenches, meet some new people, and catch one more rooftop evening before Lisbon weather decides otherwise. See you there! 🍻
