MBTI Guided Self-Typing — Discover Your Type From the Inside (Part I)
About the event
Join us this Saturday at 5 pm in Brussels for our second Jungian studies meeting.
MBTI Guided Self-Typing — Discover Your Type (Part I)
What if, instead of taking another personality test, you could actually observe the differences for yourself?
In this interactive session, we’ll explore the foundations of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Jungian typology through guided self-typing, discussion and short group exercises.
Rather than handing you a four-letter result, we’ll work our way toward it together. You’ll be introduced to Jung’s cognitive functions, explore how different ways of perceiving and judging show up in practice, and reflect on which patterns you relate the most.
Along the way, we’ll also look at where MBTI came from, how it developed from Jung’s « Psychological Types », and where the two models differ.
However, we’ll bring the theory to life through interactive exercises, observation and group discussion. (The exercises will be inspired in part by Dario Nardi’s « The Magic Diamond ».)
By the end, you should leave with: a better sense of your potential type, a practical introduction to the cognitive functions, and, more importantly, a framework for continuing to investigate your type for yourself.
Beginners are very welcome.
If you already know your MBTI type, come test your assumptions and experience the theory from a different angle!
No preparation required.
Free to attend.
