See "Vertigo" @ The Harvard Film Archive & Pre-film Dinner at Tenoch
About the event
There's not much that needs to be said about *Alfred Hitchcock's* *Vertigo*. Simply put, it's a monumental piece of filmmaking and widely considered not just among the best of Hitchcock's filmography but among the greatest works in cinema history. The Harvard Film Archive (HFA) will be showing this on Nov. 9th so please join this special event. There will be a pre-film dinner at the nearby Tenoch taqueria.
Description: *Alfred Hitchcock’s* 1958 psychological thriller *Vertigo* follows retired detective John "Scottie" Ferguson, who struggles with severe acrophobia and guilt after a botched investigation. Consumed by an obsessive desire to recreate a lost love, Scottie unravels a complex murder conspiracy that leads to a tragic climax.
The film will play at 7pm on Monday, November 9th at Harvard University's Harvard Film Archive. You can pre-purchase tickets [HERE](https://harvardfilmarchive.org/calendar/vertigo-2026-11). As the HFA has rather limited seating, I would advise you to order tickets early to secure a seat.
Prior to the film, please come join me at the [Tenoch](https://share.google/IG0QU5YY5yZL2JFII) in Harvard Square for any intros, dining and discussion.
