As the world prepares for extinction, an upper-middle-class family upholds their custom: hosting a Réveillon barbecue. Hired to prepare the meal, a barbecue chef encounters the family alongside the audience, discovering their disputes, existential crises, neuroses and yearnings—all rooted in their inability to transcend personal concerns. A comedy examining the end of the world by examining ourselves, our tendency to elevate everyday troubles into apocalyptic proportions.
