Join us for a day celebrating the art of spinning. Members of the Austin Spinners and Weavers Guild will join Pioneer Farms spinners for demonstrations, conversation, and sharing their knowledge of spinning, wool, and weaving. Whether you are an experienced spinner, curious to learn, or just interested in seeing this traditional craft in action, come visit, ask questions, and try it out. If you have a spinning wheel, modern or traditional, feel free to bring it and spin with us. Spinning Day is free with regular admission to Pioneer Farms. All are welcome to come enjoy a day of history, craftsmanship, and community.
