Beat Me at Chess, Change My Route to Oslo - Social Ride + Chess
About the event
I'm cycling roughly 2,800 km from Amsterdam to Oslo with a chessboard.
Along the way, people can challenge me to a game. If they beat me, they get to alter my route.
On Saturday 19 September, Sunday Cycling Club is hosting the Amsterdam send-off: a social ride, chess, and a chance to join the beginning of the trip.
You don’t need to be a cyclist and you definitely don’t need to be a strong chess player. I’m around 1000 Elo, so this is a fairly realistic opportunity to send me somewhere you decide.
We’ll meet at Concourse, play some chess, hang out, and then whoever wants can join a \~45 km social ride around Amsterdam. Route coming soon.
