We’re excited to welcome Mashal Waqar, CMO of Octant and Golem Foundation, to discuss innovative funding models and the future of Ethereum’s ecosystem. Mashal leads growth and strategy at Octant, one of Ethereum’s largest public goods funding initiatives, which has distributed over $15 million in grants to projects including Protocol Guild, Tor Project, and ZachXBT. She is a co-author of the State of Web3 Grants reports, a Forbes Middle East 30 Under 30 honoree, and a two-time TEDx speaker. She’ll walk us through Octant’s funding model, its 13 funding epochs, and how quadratic funding and sustainable ecosystem investment can support innovation while helping de-risk the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
