Meet new people, enjoy the outdoors, and help make Melbourne cleaner one small action at a time.
We’ll take a relaxed walk along the Yarra River while picking up litter together. Afterwards, we’ll head to a nearby café for coffee, great conversation, and a wonderful chance to make new friends.
Team Kirei is a Japanese-led community initiative based in Melbourne. Our events bring together Japanese participants, local Australians, international students, working holiday, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
This is more than just a clean-up. It’s an opportunity to:
• Meet people from all walks of life
• Enjoy a refreshing morning walk by the water
• Give back to the local community
• Make new friends in Melbourne
• Relax and connect over coffee afterwards
No previous volunteering experience is required, and everyone is warmly welcome!

What to Bring
Please bring the following if you have them:
• A rubbish bag
• An item of blue clothing or something blue to wear
• Comfortable walking shoes
