Amsterdam Dub Event brings dub back to the heart of the city. Taking center stage is Moritz von Oswald, known from the influential Basic Channel and Rhythm & Sound. He plays a special set in honor of 30 years of Amsterdam Dance Event. His work connects minimal electronic music with the deep bass and spatial echoes of dub — a sound that has left its mark on decades of dance music.
An evening full of dub and reggae
Polish producer Radikal Guru performs with trumpeter Mikołaj Janowski as a special guest. Slimmah Sound, a Dutch producer, delivers a live set with vocalist Lyrical Benjie. Kingsway from Earth Works Amsterdam closes the evening with a tribute to Jah Works. Together, they provide a varied program that showcases the breadth of the dub genre.
