Angel to Alexandra Palace: Hidden Tracks & Historic Trails

DESCRIPTION Join us for a scenic 15km walk linking some of North London's most interesting green spaces and hidden routes. Starting near Angel, we'll follow sections of the historic New River, explore the wildlife-rich Woodberry Wetlands, enjoy the unique Parkland Walk along a disused railway line, and finish with panoramic views from Alexandra Palace. 🌟 Special Feature: The Return of "Walking ChatGPT" 🌟 For those who've joined our previous London Walk Series events, you'll be pleased to know that Toby, affectionately known as "Walking ChatGPT", will once again be sharing fascinating insights, local history, hidden stories and quirky facts throughout the walk. Whether it's the history of the New River, the railway heritage of Parkland Walk, or tales behind Alexandra Palace, Toby always adds an extra dimension to our outings. Expect a mix of urban nature, waterside paths, woodland trails, local history, and great photo opportunities. The pace will be moderate, with plenty of opportunities to pause, chat, and take in the surroundings.

PROGRAMME Meeting Point: Angel station 12:00. Ending Alexandra Palace 17:00-18:00ish
COST The cost is £12 per person for hike only.

• Guided Hike planned and led by experienced AAA leader who is Lowland leader qualified, Wilderness First Aid qualified, Summer Mountain Leader trained. • PayPal fees

CANCELLING/REFUNDS If you can no longer join the event, please message the host and update your RSVP status on MeetUp to 'Not going', to allow others to take your place. If the event sells out, and you have messaged us and have changed your RSVP to 'Not going', please email us on [[info@aaalondongroup.com](mailto:info@aaalondongroup.com)]([mailto:info@aaalondongroup.com](http://mailto:info@aaalondongroup.com/)) after the event date, requesting a refund, including your PayPal email address, so we can locate the payment. Unfortunately, as PayPal retains the original transaction fee, we cannot refund this. If the hike is not full, we are sorry, we are unable to issue a refund.
