In partnership with STUDIOCANAL and the Met Office, this new temporary display on the D-Day veteran ship HMS Belfast explores the tense 72 hours leading up to one of the most consequential decisions of the Second World War. Starring Andrew Scott, Brendan Fraser, Kerry Condon and Damian Lewis, Pressure brings to life the largely untold story behind the crucial decision facing General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Fraser) of when to launch D-Day. As an Atlantic storm approaches, meteorologist Group Captain James Stagg (Scott) must deliver the forecast that could determine whether the invasion succeeds or ends in disaster. Pressure is released in UK cinemas on 9 September. On D-Day, HMS Belfast was the flagship of Bombardment Force E and was one of the first ships to fire her guns at enemy forces along the French coastline, clearing the way for thousands of Allied troops making their way to shore.
