About the event
At VWG's Karaoke meetup, we are dipping our toes in, or swimming in the deep, as we sing together as first-timers or seasoned amateurs. Cheerleader energy is recommended, singing participation is not mandatory although you aspire to muster up the courage someday! Come simply to chat and make friends with the table and those who sing your favorite artists! Karaoke is open to the public, as is the pub, so prepare for the louder night out!

The Gathering:
Fionn MacCool’s has regular Sunday karaoke, hosted by a lovely lady, Virginia, who has a couple microphones ready for your silly or serious solo, as well as your best buddy or equally nervous first-timer duet partner! Here's for the sake of having fun, letting go and activating your vagus nerve through singing (yes, as soon as you get comfortable into your song, your vagus nerve will activate to reduce your anxiety and increase regulation)!! Let's surrender to all the noise, share some songs, as well as casual conversations over dinner/drinks! 🕖🙋🏽♀️ Arrival at 7:40pm to settle in and introduce selves 📝🎵 Fill out paper of song you want to sing (songlist available via QR code on paper) and hand it into Virginia standing at mixing board. Please only put your next song in after you've sung your first. 🍔☕️ Order food/drink while waiting 🎤👫🏻 Wait to hear Virginia call your name to go up and sing your song(s) and get to know the cool people around you!

If natural dating intent occurs outside of meetup, that is fine, but we want to ensure this community is for friendship including safety, above all. 💵 This event is free of admission, however, purchasing a minimum of one drink (including non-alcoholic of course) is required, as we are taking up space in a venue.
