Clay & Chill (Creative Reset with Clay)

Two-Part Experience Session 1: Sunday, Oct 4 | 4-6 PM Session 2: Sunday, Oct 11 | 4-6 PM One registration includes both sessions. Join us for two relaxed and creative Sundays designed especially for friends and family to slow down, spend time together, and make something meaningful with their hands. It’s a chance to connect, laugh, experiment, and enjoy the creative process together — with a little bit of clay magic along the way. Session 1 — Sunday, October 4 We’ll start with clay and create your own ceramic piece from scratch. No previous experience is needed — just come ready to create, experiment, and enjoy the experience together. A little TXARTECH twist: You’ll also have the option to add a small 3D-printed clay element to your piece — combining traditional hands-on ceramics with digital fabrication and giving your creation an extra personal touch. After the first session, your pieces will stay at TXARTECH to dry and go through their first kiln firing. Session 2 — Sunday, October 11 We’ll come back together to refine, clean, decorate, and glaze the pieces, adding color and finishing touches while enjoying another creative Sunday together. After the second session, TXARTECH will handle the final glaze firing. Once everything is completely finished and ready, you’ll be contacted to arrange pickup of your ceramic piece. All clay, materials, glazing, and both kiln firings are included. Feel free to make it even more social! If you’d like to bring a favorite drink, snack, or something to share with friends and the group, you’re more than welcome to. No ceramic experience necessary — just bring your favorite people, get creative, share some good moments, and enjoy the time together.
