Come along to a Saturday afternoon social chess get together with about 70 people, organised by the Melbourne Chess Society. Everyone is welcome, including those new to the game, plus it's free.
There is no expectation to be good, and while boards, pieces and clocks are provided you're encouraged to bring your own along.
