Cory Hanson + support: Cole Berliner
About the event

Cole Berliner provides the support act with experimental acoustic-electric arrangements. Discover the versatility of Cory Hanson
Cory Hanson, known as the frontman of the rock collective Wand, displays a more intimate and wilder sound solo. Since his debut The Unborn Capitalist from Limbo (2016), he has been building an oeuvre from Los Angeles that balances dreamy folk, fuzzed guitar storms, and an almost cinematic sensibility. His albums such as Pale Horse Rider (2021) and Western Cum (2023) explore the extremes of Americana and psychedelic rock.
Let yourself be carried away by his unique sound
His latest album I Love People (2025) unites these worlds in a timeless form. Warm melodies and rich arrangements are reminiscent of singer-songwriters from the seventies, filtered through Hanson's idiosyncratic view of the present. Together with his regular band members, with whom he also made Vertigo (2024), he creates a layered and direct sound: classical and modern, melancholic and playful, sometimes absurd but always spot on.
Experience Cory Hanson live
Live, Hanson translates this into an experience that is both loose and intense. His voice grates and floats, his guitar lines twist like dust clouds through an open landscape. The band fills the space with a warmth that feels both comforting and alienating. Hanson is a storyteller who makes small details big and big feelings small, thereby opening up a new perspective on music with every song.
