Come meet the group and see what we’re all about before heading into the outdoors!
Whether you’re completely new to camping, new to the Vancouver Camping Club, or simply looking to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, this relaxed evening is a great opportunity to learn what the club is all about.
Many people discover that camping isn’t the intimidating part - it’s showing up to a campground full of strangers. This evening is designed to remove both barriers.
Meet fellow members, ask questions, enjoy some food and drinks, and learn how the club works before committing to a weekend adventure.

If you’ve been interested in camping but don’t own equipment yet - or you’re unsure what you actually need - we’ll help you understand the options and build a setup that fits your budget.
Our goal is to lower the barrier to getting outdoors by giving members the opportunity to try quality equipment before investing in their own.
