A Tapestry of Voices: Hispanic Legacies in the American Story
About the event
South Florida artists examine heritage, identity, migration and memory through works reflecting Hispanic influence on the American experience. The exhibition runs August 29 through October 4 at Pinecrest Gardens, coinciding with the nation’s 250th anniversary. Developed through a collaborative curatorial process, the exhibition brings together varied perspectives on the people, histories and cultural traditions that continue to shape the country. The presentation is intended to encourage dialogue, connection and a broader understanding of the American story. A Tapestry of Voices: Hispanic Legacies in the American Story is curated by Hartvest Project and The Bright Foundation as part of Pinecrest Gardens’ Art in the Gardens program.
