Birdwatching in El Pardo
About the event
We´re back after the Summer break, and start with a popular walk in El Pardo and Mingorrubio. When we did this walk last year, we found some groups of Cranes, Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers, and lots of raptors!
We will meet at Puente de Capucchinos at 8.30am and then head up river. Bring water, comfortable trainers, binoculars and a hat in case it is warm. I will bring the telescope to allow us clear views of some of the birds. We should finish before midday.
El Pardo is easily accessible on public transport from Madrid on buses 164 and 179 for example. I am sure some people heading up in cars will also be available to give rides.
