About the Programme Put the Moka pot on and brew yourself a warm cup of Lavazza: Travelog is a community book club series that serves as your passport to a journey of cultural exploration and immersion. Through literary immersion, we'll sink deep into the heart and soul of a country, bringing more depth and dimension to your next bucket list destination. At this book party, we’ll be engaging in a lively discussion of our two featured titles from Italy: • My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante • Family Lexicon by Natalia Ginzburg Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’ve finished reading the books or not. Come and bask in the warmth of new friends and spirited Italian culture! About the Facilitator Clare is a Juilliard concert pianist turned literature content creator with an audience of over 200k across Instagram and TikTok. Her mission is simple: to encourage critical thinking and social progress through the exploration of literature around the world. She hosts a popular free online book club called Study Hall, leading 13k readers through free and accessible education, literary discussions, and expert lectures. Travel has always been an integral part of her life and having been to over 50+ countries, she believes that immersing oneself in the literature of a destination gives the culture, sights, and sounds more dimension. Registration and Attendance • Registration is required for this programme.
