A monthly brunch event in Little Havana combines Latin cuisine, drag performance and a daytime dance party at Bargean Miami. Held every third Sunday from May 17 through November 15, Brunch Matinee Latino unfolds in two phases, blending dining and entertainment into a single afternoon experience.
The event begins at noon with brunch service featuring à la carte Latin dishes and cocktails alongside live drag performances. As the afternoon progresses, the setting transitions into a matinée-style party with DJ sets and dancing, shifting the focus from seated dining to a more social, high-energy atmosphere.
Created by Proyecto 8, the series highlights Latin music, performance and community gathering in a daytime format. Bargean Miami, located on Calle Ocho and known for its Latin-Aegean culinary approach, serves as the host venue for the recurring program.
