Participants will then take part in a beginner-friendly bookmaking workshop by The Other Workroom, where they will learn techniques such as the 3 hole pamphlet stitch, Dos-à-Dos binding, and 32-page booklet construction—creating their own handcrafted books using OFFCUT papers.
No prior experience needed. All materials will be provided.
This programme is suitable for adults.
About the Speakers
Allegro Print Pte Ltd
Founded in 2002, Allegro Print is a Singapore-based creative print and production house with over 25 years of expertise. We partner with businesses, designers, and organisations to deliver high-quality print solutions that combine craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability. But somewhere along the way, the question shifted from "How do we print this well?" to "What else could print become?" That mindset inspired us to create a family of brands including OFFCUT, an award-winning upcycled stationery brand made from surplus paper from our production process; LayerPlay, a print-on-demand wallpaper and interior décor service; Oolors, a premium stationery brand; and ALL-BOOK-S, an online bookstore supporting independent publishers and designers. OFFCUT received both the Singapore Good Design Award and Japan's Good Design Award (G-Mark) in 2021, reflecting our commitment to sustainable innovation. Today, Allegro Print is trusted by brands such as MBS, NIKE, NUS, and the National Gallery Singapore, bringing meaningful ideas to life through print.
