Anxiety and Depression Skills - Group Meeting

Meeting to learn cognitive behavioral techniques to manage your symptoms of anxiety and depression is held at the second floor meeting room at Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch of Burnaby Public Library at 6100 Willingdon Ave 200 meters west of the Metrotown Skytrain Station. The group is a safe non-judgmental place to share and learn new skills in a confidential setting. Sharing is encouraged but never required. There is free underground parking. You don't need to bring anything, reading materials are provided. On the attendance sheet write down your email address- materials will be sent to you via email. You may want to bring a pen and notebook if you would like to take notes. Meeting outline: Introduction Reading and discussion Members share examples they would like to get help with Mutual Aid - general discussion Meeting is open to men and women with or without a mental health diagnosis. Meeting room on second floor is open at 6 pm, meeting officially starts at 615 pm and ends at 7:45 pm. Washrooms are available at the library.
