About the event
Dancers Love Dogs, founded by Brigitte Reeve-Taylor, is a unique charity initiative that brings together Cape Town’s dance community to create lasting change for animals in need. Every performer, choreographer and volunteer donates their time and talent, ensuring that 100% of all funds raised go directly to veterinarians providing sterilisation programmes in less fortunate communities. To date, Dancers Love Dogs has raised over R10 million and funded the sterilisations of more than 35,000 animals. Hosted by the brilliant Alan Committie, the Gala showcases Cape Town’s leading dance companies, academies and artists, united by compassion and purpose.
