50 Years of Hippokrates Birthday Reunion

As Hippokrates celebrates its 50th anniversary, we warmly invite you to return home for a special evening of nostalgia, reconnection, and celebration. For many of us, Hippokrates was more than just a residence — it was a home filled with lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, traditions, and moments that shaped who we became. The evening will begin with guided residence tours, offering you the chance to walk familiar corridors, revisit old rooms, and relive some of the memories that made the residence so special. Thereafter, alumni are invited to gather at the Club House before joining one another on the renowned "Hippo Grass" for a magical outdoor dinner experience beneath fairy lights and the Tygerberg sky. In honour of the beloved "Potjie and Punch" tradition, the evening's menu will feature a hearty curry potjie and spit braai experience.
