Community Talk: Join the Herd!

​Like humans, elephants are herd animals, so Slonik is the perfect emblem for the PostgreSQL community. With millions of happy users, PostgreSQL has an unfathomably large community, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. There’s a place for everyone in the herd, but it’s not always easy to find that place, or even know what that place might be. ​We will review current efforts in the Postgres community to increase transparency and accessibility to people new to the project, as well as ideas that have been discussed and need someone to develop them.
